2nd May - Today's News: Drought Fears After the UK's Sunniest April

It's been the sunniest April on record for the UK - but also warm and very dry, as drought fears intensify after scorching April whilst there are also drought fears for grains growing season mount in Central Europe And it's also been the h ottest ever start to May as temperatures hit 29C .  Less heat to come, but not much in the way of rain .....
