27th August - Today's News: UK's Hottest Summer

  This summer will ‘almost certainly’ be warmest on record for the UK - although 1976 will remain the warmest in the CET record.   Whilst we've not had any really exception heat, the summer has been persistently warm across the whole of the UK. 25th August - Today's News: Typhoon Kajiki Batters China, Vietnam
