Carnage in the NE .....  'Major incident' declared in Fife after thunderstorms whilst there are 'serious injuries' after passenger train derails near Stonehaven during storms - latest information being at least two fatalities, but fortunately only 6 passengers were on board.

Meanwhile Evesham saw a nice lightning show for a distant cell in Warwickshire but nothing else last night.  This evening may, possibly, be different .....
