1st May - Today's News: Britain's Frostiest April

The UK has seen April's lowest average minimum temperatures since 1922 as an exceptionally cold April brings frost every day - here it was the coldest April since my records began in 2003, as well as the frostiest by far, with 13 air frosts: 3 more than I recorded in the whole of winter 2019-20
