Here, yesterday saw our first ice day since February 2021 and today may be even colder.  In Glasgow it remained below -5c all day.  But at least we have power.  In Shetland power cuts declared major incident with Scotland on course for coldest December in a decade.  Milder weather should arrive in England on Sunday, and it currently looks like being a "green" Christmas ....
