21st October - Today's News: Storm Babet Causes Deaths, Floods, Widespread Disruption

Not a major news story as it's not affecting London and the Home Counties - just everywhere else!   The Avon is at high flood levels, and we never even had a yellow warning for rain.  The impacts will continue to be felt for everal days yet, with more major flooding likely as waters flow downstream.  And more heavy rain looks likely on Tuesday night.
