15th November - Today's News: Welsh Floods Whilst Inverness Gets Snow
Parts of Wales and the Marches were worst affected by yesterday's rain as floods prompt 'danger to life' warnings and evacuation in Monmouth with a major incident declared after severe flooding in UK and more rain forecast for Saturday before cold snap hits UK
Here in Evesham, a storm total of 55.5mm and daily total of 52.8mm was the highest I've recorded since July 2007 but surprisingly no flood problems - the advantage of having had such a dry year with the water table still low.
Meanwhile, for some, there's a chance of snow in UK this week after Storm Claudia clears whilst already Inverness sees Scotland's first snowfall of season (low level snow, that is)
