Britain's mild start to November sees temperature records broken with some overnight minima higher than the average for July.  I recorded a min of 13.6c on the 5th.

Globally, 2025 set to be second or third warmest year on record, continuing exceptionally high warming trend

Great Barrier Reef may partially recover from 'grim future' if global warming stays below 2C - but with 1.5c warming effectively now certain, CO2 still rising, and no-one giving a damn, I can't see that happening.    Worth noting that it's not the warming itself that so much an issue as the speed of it.
