Got to see (just about) and photograph the northern lights from my front door last night as the Aurora Borealis lights up Britain's skies as far south as Sussex and Devon in stunning nighttime display whilst down under, the aurora australis makes stunning return to southern Australian skies

And this morning I also recorded my lowest ever temperature for this early in autumn with -0.9c
