17th October - Today's News: Western Britain Hit by More Flash Flooding

Another day of persistent heavy rain in places as flash flooding closes roads and blocks rail lines in the Marches whilst in Devon there were multiple rescues as vehicles trapped in flooding and heavy rain brings widespread travel disruption to Wales.  Not a big story though 'cos London was unaffected.
