28th March - Today's News: First Snow of Year in Majorca

It may be spring, but they've just has the first snow of 2020 in Majorca Something to do whilst in lockdown? Generally speaking, Mother Nature is helping us by keeping severe weather around the world to a minimum, but in the USA, ten million Americans are hit by severe storms as tornadoes flip cars in Texas, Colorado is struck by blizzard and Air Force evacuates spy planes from Nebraska base whilst one third of the lower 48 faces risk of flooding this spring, weather service says .   But at least coronavirus ends LA’s notorious smog and air pollution as people stay home and avoid roads And it's possible that coronavirus has saved 1,000s of lives in China due to decreasing pollution levels, claim experts Spanish temperatures to soar in Spring after their second warmest winter on record Flooding in northern Iraq stirs fears of landslides And new analysis suggests that the global warming influence on extreme weather events has been frequently underestimated

9th March - Today's News: Rain Continues to Cause Flooding in Britain

6th March - Today's News: Europe's Warmest Winter on Record

4th March - Today's News: 25 Dead in Tenessee Tornadoes

2nd March - Today's News: New York Homes Encased in Ice

Homes in New York become 'igloos' and trap residents inside after strong winds blow water off Lake Erie and turn it to ice At Snaith, in East Yorkshire, flooded homeowners open their doors to reveal terrible scenes of misery from 15-day deluge as more rain arrive s - though I really don't see why that want Boris to visit them!  Surely it's enough of a disaster as it is ....
