27th December - Today's News: White Christmas for Jersey

  With a below average maxima of 6.1c and not a single cloud in the sky from dawn to dusk it was, I think, my coldest and sunniest Christmas Day since 2010.   No white Christmas for anywhere in the UK though.   Although down in the Channel Islands, Jersey has a White Christmas for the first time in 55 years after snow falls  Southern California sees third death from atmospheric river storm drenching region  as the weekend sees  California downpours ease but flood and mudslide risks linger  whilst in the NE, t housands of US flights disrupted as winter storm looms Deep freeze grips Canada as US records warmest Christmas In Iceland,  Christmas temperature record broken as heat reaches nearly 20°C - some 6c higher than the previous record And, as the planet warmed, politics wobbled: The defining climate moments of 2025

18th December - Today's News: UK's Sunniest Year on Record

16th December - Today's News: At Least 37 Dead in Moroccan Flash Floods

Morocco’s Safi counts the cost in aftermath of deadly flash floods with at least 37 dead Travel disruption and flooding as heavy rain hits Wales  Poland bit by warmest December in 74 years Online classes and construction ban as toxic haze covers Delhi And h ow common is a white Christmas where you are?   No very ....  Pershore hasn't had one since 1995 - although I we did have a flurry in Evesham one year in the early 2000s (2004?) and of course plenty on the ground in 2010 (the last time any snow was seen at Christmas at all).
