After firefighters tackle large wildfire near Strathpeffer at the weekend, yesterday another wildfire breaks out on the deserted hills near Glasgow . This is, of course, the peak of the UK wildfire season and it's been quite dry of late. However, with less people in the hills there are fewer than we'd normally expect.
And a bizarre fireball spotted over Hull last night 'may have been a meteor from the annual Lyrid shower'. Or, more likely, another aircraft contrail .....
