20th October - Today's News: Autumnal Weather Hits Britain & Europe
Yesterday in Widnes: Possible tornado damages houses and vehicles whilst there were abandoned cars, closed roads, and flooding in Wales after thunderstorms and heavy rain. And overnight, more flooding and transport disruption after Storm Aurore hits South East. In Evesham we even had thunder. And on the Scottish hills there's been a dusting of snow. It's autumn!
There was also travel disruption as storm wreaks havoc across Germany whilst storms in northern France lead to train disruption and power cuts
