16th December - Today's News: Coldest Weather Since 2010
The coldest spell of weather in Evesham since December 2010, with 2 consecutive nights falling into double figure minima (-11.4c on Thursday and -10.3c this morning). Worth noting that since 2010, the lowest temperature I had recorded was -6.5c, and some winters haven't seen it drop below -4c. Sunday's snow remains widespread with lots of hard-packed ice around. Be interesting to see if any survives Sunday's rain and much milder conditions .....
