2nd December - Today's News: Winter Starts Snowy

Snow and ice sparks travel chaos after -10C freeze overnight - temperatures fell to -5.9c in Evesham on Thursday night; not so cold last night but with fog today, we could be on for an ice day before snow (possibly) arrives tonight (freezing rain more likely though) - as snow in England heralds start of meteorological winter while snow brings North East disruption as schools and roads shut.
