4th April - Today's News: European Countries Report Warmest Ever March

The UK's Spring starts with a mild and wet March - it was not as wet as March last year, but followed on from a very wet February.  

Germany logs warmest March on record whilst in the Netherlands this March was the warmest on record, no frost in De Bilt.   It was also a record-breaking March in Czechia: Warmest Since 1961 (when record began) and the warmest March ever in the Austrian lowlands

Spain's giant hail event worsened by marine heat waves, study finds

In the USA, a monster storm batters the Midwest and South with deadly tornadoes, flooding and hail and an April nor'easter is walloping New England with wind, rain and snow

In Australia, torrential rain expected for east coast triggers weather warnings
