Met Office scientists build computer model to predict when tornadoes will hit the UK
There's alarm as Arctic sea ice not yet freezing at latest date on record
In Canada, Okanagan snowstorm breaks 120-year-old record for most snow in October
The drought in western U.S. is biggest in years and predicted to worsen during winter months
And whilst the effects have so far been a reduction in pollution globally, in the UK, at least more pollution expected from stay-home workers this winter.
