21st February - Today's News: Storm Franklin Brings More Gales and Floods to UK

Storm Franklin: Flooding and evacuations as storm nears UK as rain causes flooding across Yorkshire and the Mersey River hits highest-ever level and hundreds of homes at risk of flooding amid 'danger to life' warnings.   Yesterday incredible footage shows pontoon destroy bridge near Armley Mills in Leeds - ironically the pontoon was being used to build new flood defences.   And there's a sub-zero chill and snow forecast after winds of up to 130km hit Ireland with 29,000 without power today.
