Climate change may make Greenland greener by 2100 - though of course, one of the reasons for the lack of trees around the southern Greenland coast is that the Vikings chopped them all down (as they also did in Iceland) and a combination of subsequent soil erosion, livestock grazing and the short growing season prevented re-establishment.
