10th March - Today's News: World 24 Hour Snowfall Record Broken?

Has snowfall world record been broken?  Over 100 inches reportedly fell in 18 hours in a village in the Apennines.   However, it can be proven and be accepted or not remains to be seen.  The Telegraph has more pictures of the village that got eight feet of snow in one day.
