28th February - Today's News: Australia has Hottest Summer on Record


However, here, we have finally come to an end of the record warmth in the UK, Belgium and the Netherlands with France's record-breaking February heatwave over as well.  More normal temperatures expected in March.   Yesterday's 19.2c at Heathrow didn't even break the date record!
