As Bardarbunga volcano erupts in Iceland: spectacular photos taken from the sky whilst Icelandair pilot perfoms extra go-around to give passengers a once-in-a-lifetime view of huge active volcano - not surprisingly, no-one complained that they landed late!   The possibility of a major, disruptive, eruption remains a concern.  Meanwhile, in the Pacific,  lava from Hawaii volcano nears homes. And earthquake traps 34 Bosnian miners underground




And new evidence that life forms appeared at least 60 million years earlier than previously thought - polluting the atmosphere with their vile oxygen ....
