11th February - Today's News: Severe Fire Risk as Australian Heatwave Continues



We had a few hours this morning of intermittent light snow and snow grains - nothing settling, of course, but at least it feels like a "snow day" for a change.   That's probably it for the year though!  And it's not yet dropped below freezing in this supposed "coldest spell of the winter" ......



And did a double plume of magma wipe out the dinosaurs?  No.  But it was a contributory factor.  Mayhew's Law!
