Storm Eowyn breaks Irish wind speed records  as .  And higher speeds may well have been recorded, except power is out so we can't get the data off the weather stations.

The worst of the winds are expected to affect Scotland this afternoon but already there's travel off and power cuts as Storm Éowyn arrives

Yesterday also saw 'carnage' as mini tornado tears through village

And last weekend some rare clouds spotted during Scottish Cup match
