4th January - Today's News: 2024 Was UK's 4th Warmest

2024 UK's fourth warmest year on record - interestingly, it was also my 4th warmest - after, 2023, 2022 and, the warmest in my records, 2021.   Seems to me it's getting steadily colder!    More seriously, 2024 was also a very dull year and also my wettest on record.

In the US, winter storm Blair threatens 13 states with up to 30 inches of snow as Arctic outbreak triggers power outage alerts

Meanwhile, here, snow and icy rain likely to disrupt parts of UK tonight and through Sunday.   Ireland could see a lot of snow too.

But does the UK get less snow than it used to?  Yes.
