And now it's an 'uneven' global sea-level rise predicted - so maybe the previous varying predictions will ALL prove correct!

    The uneven-ness of sea-rise and sea-levels has been well known for years.

    The headline is a little misleading as is evidenced by this bit:

    "Scientists have known for some time that sea level rise around the globe will not be uniform, but in this study the team of ice2sea researchers show in great detail the global pattern of sea-level rise that would result from two scenarios of ice-loss from glaciers and ice sheets."

    So it's an improved map of the rise variation, rather than a discovery of such.
