Bird deaths like those being reported by the tabloid media this week happen almost every day somewhere or other, and have been doing so for millions of years. It's like volcanoes - after a big one erupts then the media report on other eruptions elsewhere in the world, because there's suddenly public interest in the subject. This gives the impression to the young, stupid, gullible and naive that there's been an inexplicable increase in eruptions - when the fact is nothing of the sort. Normally you just don't hear of such things - and with these bird deaths, had the case in Arkansas not been picked up by global media on a quiet news days in the first place then we'd not have been hearing about any other cases. There are lots of different reasons why they happen. There is no link between them all. Any more than there is a link between all the car crashes which occurred within seconds of each other all around the world just 5 minutes ago.....
