24th February - Today's News: Landslide Closes Rest & Be Thankful Yet Again


After heavy rain over the weekend, another landslip closes A83 road in Argyll at the Rest & Be Thankful and last week's large Bournemouth seafront landslide caused by rainfall

And just for a laugh, this was in the Mirror yesterday: one month of rain set to fall in one hour today - though the story beneath qualifies that as nearly a month's rain in several hours ..... and only over the Cumbrian fells "with towns and villages escaping the deluge"  .....
