Offshore windfarms could tame hurricanes before they reach land .... according to a computer simulation that is, and assuming there are thousands of them coincidently in the hurricane's path.
Now this sounds rather wierd at first, but it does make sense: smell of forest pine can limit climate change - the scent turns into aerosols which in turn reflect sunlight back into space. So all we need do to combat AGW is cover the planet in pinewoods!
